National MDCAT Pakistan 2022

Dear Students,

National MDCAT 2022 test is also expected to conduct online via computer mode like MDCAT 2021 test if pandemic situation is not control. However, the Pakistani government is trying best to take preventive measures so national MDCAT 2020 held physically and remove students concerns and reservations regarding online examination. The decision of online or physical national MDCAT 2022 test will be taken in accordance with health measures. Faisal Sultan is appointed as the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Health Services in Pakistan to take care of pandemic and health related issues.

Prime Minister of Pakistan (Imran Khan) has nominated seventeen members of the National Medical and Dental Academic Board called NMDAB to conduct the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT). A few name of following members and their affiliations with certain public and private sectors is given below

MDCAT 2022

Each year, after Intermediate exams, F.Sc. pre-medical students appear in a medical test. National Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (NMDCAT) is conducted by Pakistan medical commission (PMC) approximately after 4-6 months of F.Sc. examination. It is expected that MDCAT 2022 will be held online from 30th August to 30th September. The final date will be announced by PMC on their official website. NMDCAT is a competitive exam for the selection of future doctors in Pakistan. Around 200,000 students from all over Pakistan appear in this National test. Fresh candidates, as well as a large number of repeaters, appear in this test so that they can get into medical college by acing this exam. National MDCAT Is Mandatory for taking admission in any Medical and dental colleges of Pakistan.

Most of the students in MDCAT 2021 paper looked confuse regarding book selection because of logical reasoning and adding or removing different sections in MDCAT 2021 test. The students who are thinking to appear in MDCAT 2022, they don’t need to worry because national mdcat books 2022 covers all topics and sections of each subject (English, Physics, Chemistry and Logical Modeling) explicitly for MDCAT 2022 test.

About MDCAT 2021

The year 2021 around 194k students has appeared in NMDCAT. This year, test was conducted for 30 days (30th August to 30th September). The test Each day (morning and evening) approximately 6100 tests will be held. By these figures, you can imagine how much competition has increased each year. we have calculated that this year alone , there has been a 60 % percent increase in comparison to previous years. So, buckle up. considering the fact and figures that only electives are being considered in FSC exams. The merit could go up much this year also.

Eligibility Criteria

The following candidate can only appear in the test If they

• have at least 70% Marks in intermediate
• have Domicile of any Pakistani province

NMDCAT 2022 paper Pattern

• Major F.Sc. courses include Phy, Chem, Bio and Eng
• Intelligence MCQs (Logical Reasoning + Basic Maths) will be included in NMDCAT
• The pattern/MCQ_Distribution NMDCAT 2022 is not confirmed Yet (will post once Decided officially)

However, following paper pattern for NMDCAT 2022 is expecting:

• Intelligence MCQs (Logical Reasoning + Basic Maths) 10-15%
• English 10-15%
• Physics 15-20%
• Chemistry 20-25%
• Biology 30-55%

 How to prepare MDCAT 2022 

Biology: it is a major subject in MDCAT preparation, 80 MCQs are taken from this book. Relatively easy, try to get maximum marks in it to be ensured for the admission. Prepare it from TEXTBOOK. Read each and every line of the topic given in the MDCAT syllabus. Use a highlighter and highlight important points. It will help u in quick revision in the end. Must prepare those RED LINES below the diagram which we used to ignore in FSC. Many MCQs are taken from there. Just prepare according to MDCAT syllabus and don’t get too deep coz most of the MCQs are just the book lines.. practice the MCQs from the practice book. KIPS unit wise test is present in the link. Give maximum time to the topics u left optional during F.Sc.

Physics: Most important subject in MDCAT. 40 MCQs are to be taken from there. Study it smartly and conceptually. Give it a read from the textbook. Memorize formulas and learn how to convert it into other forms…u have to solve numerical MCQs without a calculator so from the start, practice the MCQs and solve the fractions by yourself. Mcq Practice is much much necessary to get marks in physics…make ur own formulae notes and memorize them on daily basis. U have to study some topics from u tube too. like torque and topic of waves.. solve the past papers of MDCAT. Diagrammatic questions are also much important so try to learn all the concepts. Must take assistance from any u tube channel for the purpose. Make shortlisting notes too for the quick revision at the end.

English: This is a game-changer subject. To ensure your seat u have to perform well in this subject. 20 MCQs are to be taken. Mostly grammatical type questions and some vocab words which are given in the MDCAT syllabus are to be studied. For the grammar, first of all, learn all the rules from your sunshine handbook.. All 106 rules are basic and necessary. Prepare them well..Then go for the grammar book of any academy…The link I’ve shared earlier contains the KIPS MDCAT book of English..Give a read to the rules in the book and practice MCQ on a daily basis. Cross ❌ easy rules for the purpose of quick revision at the end. highlight the confusing rules and read them many times. For vocab, must learn the meaning of all the words given in mdcat syllabus..kips vocab book is present in the link. Steps and Stars vocab books are also good. Ur choice from where u want to learn them. Then go to synonyms and the same method, highlight the difficult ones and learn them repeatedly on a daily basis.

Chemistry: 60 MCQs in SET. ORGANIC CHEMISTRY is the major portion and almost 35 to 40 MCQs are from there so give maximum time to organic chemistry .. Read from textbook…memorize the catalysts used in the reaction. MCQ practice is the main thing here. After reading, do solve MCQs to realize the nature of MCQs. Physical chemistry (1st yr topics) is a bit conceptual. Prepare this also according to the syllabus. #Chemistry_notes a file given in the earlier link is much beneficial, do prepare the topic from it after you have read it from the book.
