Admissions Guideline about Private and other Province Medical Colleges

All those students, who couldn’t get enough aggregate to be hopeful about getting admission in Govt sector medical and dental colleges of Punjab, are now looking for admissions in medical colleges of other provinces and private medical colleges. So here are some guidelines:
1) First of all, students of Punjab domicile cannot directly apply for the admission in public sector medical and dental colleges of KPK, Sindh or Balochstan etc. They are not allowed to appear in ETEA Medical (KPK), NTS Medical Test (Sindh) or any other test conducted by the respective provinces/regions (other than NUMS and FMDC Test). 
2) The only way to get admission in public sector medical colleges of other provinces is through “14 reciprocal MBBS seats” reserved in the medical colleges of Balochistan, KPK and Azad Jammu & Kashmir for Punjab domiciled candidates. The candidates who are eligible to apply on Open Merit seats in Medical/Dental Colleges of the Punjab can also opt for admission on these reciprocal seats. Separate applications are not required; an applicant has to write the names of those colleges in his/her preference list while submitting the admission forms to UHS. allocation of reciprocal seats are given below

2) However, students can get admission in private medical colleges of all provinces/regions without the formality of domicile. For admissions in MBBS and BDS in private medical colleges, Centralized Induction Policy (ICP) is going to be implemented this year. In Punjab, UHS will publish the admission notice on 14 October, Sunday. In KPK, Khyber Medical University is going to announce admissions in private medical colleges within a week. And in Sindh, the admissions in private medical colleges will commence 08 days after the completion of admissions in public sector medical colleges (i.e. in November).
