1. It is clarified that the Entrance Test has not been cancelled. It has been postponed and will be held as per new schedule which will be announced at an appropriate time.
2. It is further clarified that Entrance Test is a mandatory requirement of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Admission will only be processed and finalized after conduct of the Entrance test.
The University Syndicate has permitted those Intermediate Pre-medical candidates who have applied to appear in Additional Mathematics this year to appear in the Pre-engineering version of the UET Entrance Test. They will be eligible to apply for admission in UET Lahore as Pre-engineering candidates. Other eligibility conditions will apply.
Notification for Overseas Candidates:
1. Candidates applying under “S” category (Overseas Pakistanis Seats) during admission cycle 2020 are exempted from the Entrance Test Examination conducted by UET, Lahore for all Punjab institution on account of travel restrictions due to COVID19 pandemic. They will be required to submit a scanned copy of a duly filled form VIII available on our website to prove their eligiblity as overseas category applicants.
2. However, a proposal is under consideration to arrange a special Entrance Test for S category applicants, when they apply for admission to UET, to fulfill Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) regulation.
3. Such Candidate will not be eligible to apply for open merit seats.
