Rahim Yar Khan is the final district of Punjab province, and it is situated at the crossroads of three Pakistani provinces: Sindh, Punjab, and Balochistan. Rahim Yar Khan is named after one of the Nawab of Bahawalpur’s grandchildren. It is one of Pakistan’s most productive agricultural and revenue-generating districts. It is connected to the rest of the nation by air and is located on the major railway line and National Highway that connects Karachi, Lahore, and Peshawar, as well as the CPEC Motorway.
The Sheikh Zayed Medical College Rahim Yar khan was founded as a self-financing medical college in March 2003. The Punjab government banned self-finance seats in medical and dental institutes in 2008, and all of these seats were changed to open merit seats. Prof. Dr. Eice Muhammad was the school’s first principal, and Prof. Dr. Tariq Ahmed is the current one. The SZMC/H is a tertiary healthcare institution that aspires to be a model of medical education and patient care by aiming for excellence in teaching and training of health professionals. The college’s basic sciences departments and administration have been relocated to this new campus, which is situated to the east of Sheikh Zayed Hospital, after the completion of a new college building in 2017.
The facility covers around 140 acres. The institution includes a faculty of 162 individuals, including 20 professors, with a wealth of expertise and dedication. The College has developed a solid reputation in a short period of time and is now considered one of the top medical schools in the nation, developing and producing talented and devoted graduate and post-graduate physicians.
“Zaydians” are the students and alumni of this institution. Sports society, literary society, Zaydian’s Arts society, Zaydian blood donation society, and HUMAINE society are among the co-curricular activities offered by the institution.
The college produces “Raigzaar,” an annual literary magazine, and “Publication of SZMC,” a quarterly scientific journal approved by PMDC that contains research papers. The institution offers a variety of cricket and football fields, as well as the ability to play indoor activities. The campus cafeteria also serves high-quality, sanitary cuisine to pupils.
The college features a well-established Medical Education department, which is directed by a team of specialist medical educators who hold monthly workshops for faculty to keep them up to speed on current medical teaching issues and to provide them with contemporary medical education skills. Two state-of-the-art libraries with internet access are accessible at the campus, and separate reading rooms are offered at the dormitory. The institution also offers freshly constructed hostels for both ladies and boys with all of the necessary living amenities. Faculty housing has recently been built and is ready to be handed over.
For undergraduate and postgraduate clinical training, the institution is associated with the Sheikh Zayed Hospital, which has 1228 beds. This hospital has all tertiary care health facilities, including 25 disciplines recognized by PMDC and CPSP for postgraduate training, making it the second-largest tertiary care institution in Pakistan after KEMU Lahore, with the most disciplines accredited by CPSP and affiliated with UHS Lahore for MBBS, MS, and MD. CT, CT Angio, MRI, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, Urodynamics, PCR, Hormonal assay, BERA (Brain stem evoke response audiometry), and current diagnostic ophthalmological equipment are among the hospital’s state-of-the-art diagnostic services. lithotripsy, arthroscopy, joint replacement, re-union of amputated parts, all types of dental and maxillofacial surgery, all types of ophthalmic surgeries including Vitreo-retina surgery, Oculoplasty, and low vision aid clinic, vascular surgery and cardiac surgery and cardiology department with facility of angiography, angioplasty, and Coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG). There is also a Thalassemia Center for Adults, Pediatrics, and Neonatals, as well as a well-established state-of-the-art Adults, Pediatric, and Neonatal ICU. The newly constructed 124-bed emergency block has all of the necessary amenities to deal with any kind of emergency.
Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT) and B.Sc.(Honors’) allied health sciences courses are provided in the H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Allied Health Sciences School, which is part of the college.
Sheikh Zayed Medical College Rahim Yar Khan’s College of Nursing is also doing well and generating qualified staff nurses who play an important part in the delivery of healthcare services to the country’s needy and suffering people. The new college of nursing building has been finished and is already operational.

Candidates interested for admission in the above-mentioned Degree Programme, can apply on prescribed Prospectus/Admission Form which is available on cost Rs. 1500/- from H.H. Shiekh Khalifa School of Allied Health Sciences, Dari Sanghi, Rahim Yar Khan. Last date for submission of the applications is 25-01-2022 (upto 12:00 noon). The candidates may submit their applications by hand or by registered post to the office of the Administrator, H.H.Shiekh Khalifa School of Allied Health Sciences, Dari Sanghi, Rahim Yar Khan. The applications received after due date shall not be entertained.

Attested Certificates to be attached: (Attested by Government Officer having grade-17 or above)

a) Secondary School Certificate (Matriculation). Detailed Marks sheet issued by the Board is also acceptable.
b) Higher Secondary School Certificate (F.Sc. Pre-Medical). Detailed Marks sheet issued by the Board is also accepted.
c) Domicile Certificate of the Punjab. No other certificate or document (e.g., Birth Certificate, B-form, and CNIC etc.) is acceptable in lieu of Domicile Certificate of the candidate. Any candidate found to have domicile of more than one place shall be disqualified.
d) Character Certificate from the institution last attended.
e) CNIC of his/her own and Father / Guardian.
f) Four (04) recent passport size photographs. One attested on front and other three attested on the back.
g) Original Fitness Certificate issued by a registered Medical Practitioner/Government Medical Officer.
h) Disability Certificate issued by Provisional Council for The Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons only for disabled
i) Candidates having foreign qualifications must provide the attested copies of Equivalence Certificate issued by the IBCC
j) COVID vaccination Certificate.

A. Merit list will be upload on website on 07-02-2022,
B. Selection will be on open merit basis.
C. 01 seat out of total 60 seats is reserved for disabled candidate; the merit list of disabled candidates shall be finalized on the basis of inter se merit. The decision of the selection committee shall be final.
D. Preferences in different categories chosen by the candidate will not be changed.
E. There is no hostel facility for the students of Allied Health Sciences Courses
F. No TA&DA will be paid for Entry Test Interview etc.
