Dear Medical students, in this post you will find merit calculation formula for admission 2021 of medical universities. As you know all know, PMC has announced mdcat final result and you can search it on official website on PMC or click below to see your mdcat result 2021.

It should be noted that when you search your MDCAT result, please enter your mdcat 2021 roll number in numeric form only. Do not enter any alphabet in the box, otherwise error will appear. 

PMC has also annouced that students can apply for admission this year on basis of MDCAT 2021 results and can also apply on basis of MDCAT 2020 result.

Merit formula MDCAT 2021:

If you have passed your MDCAT 2021 test, then you are eligible to apply for MBBS/BDS admission in public and private universities. This year, merit formula will be expected as:

MDCAT Test Score: 50 %

 HSSC/FSC/A levels marks: 40 %

SSC/Matric/Olevels marks: 10 %

Note: This year only FSC elective subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English will cosnider.

MDCAT Merit Formula = (Matric/1100)*10 + (FSC/600)*40 + (MDCAT/210)*50

For example:

If a student achieved 180 marks in MDCAT 2021 or MDCAT 2020 with 550/600 FSC marks and 1050/1100 matric marks, then according to merit formula, his/her aggregate will be as followed:

Total aggregate = (1050/1100)*10+ (550/600)*40 + (180/210)*50

Total aggregate =9.545+36.66+42.85

Total aggregate =89.06

This way students can calculate their aggregate using merit formula. It should be noted that admission in punjab, Balouchistan, KPK and Sindh medical colleges will be expected as per above mentioned aggregate formula.
