University of Health Sciences, UHS Lahore admission schedule for MBBS and BDS in Private Medical and Dental Colleges of Punjab for session 2019 shall start from November 30, 2019. Y 70% marks in FSc and Minimum 60% marks in MDCAT 2019 are required to apply for admissions to Private Medical Colleges as per PMDC new policy.
As per PMDC policy, UHS shall supervise the admission application procedure for all Private Medical & Dental Colleges in Punjab. Hence there will be only one form acceptable for admissions to all private medical colleges. Applicants shall enter their preference in the form. Also, it is important to note that separate forms shall be submitted for open merit and Foreign self finance scheme. Most probably, the admission process shall be handled online, however, print out of the online form and required documents will be submitted by hand at designated Medical Colleges/Universities announced by UHS.
According to the central admission policy announced by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, PMDC Islamabad, no private medical college is allowed to handle admission applications. All admissions to MBBS and BDS in Private medical colleges shall be done through Public Sector Medical University of the respective province. Merit list shall also be prepared by the same university. The same practice was followed last year, which increased the merit of the private medical colleges in Punjab. This year also, it is expected that the merit of private medical colleges shall remain higher.
