For example, In Pakistan, every year thousands of students who secured above 90% marks in metric/SSC/O level and intermediate/HSSC/A level attempt a test named “MDCAT” to take admission in medical colleges located in different cities. Due to limited seats of medical students in each college, a few students in comparison to the students who attempt MDCAT secured their admission. If we say only 1/ 25th of total students got admission to MBBS then it is not incorrect. But wait, what happens to other students, what will they do? Have you ever think about it? Yes, correctly, you are absolutely right. They decide to choose improvement option either doing FSC complete or part wise and then again attempt MDCAT test. The University is located at a distance of 10 km from the city center. The main campus is spread over 960 acres of land. The University has a fleet of 42 buses, 03 coaches, and 07 HiAce which provides transport facilities to students and staff. The University started functioning in 1975 in rented buildings with 8 departments. Presently, it has more than 40 departments/institutes/colleges. Out of its 599 faculty members, 333 hold doctoral degrees and among its around 25,160 students, half are female. The University offers a wide range of programs: M.A., M.Sc., MBA, M.Com., MCS, M.Phil, and Ph.D. Additionally, in recent years, the University has taken a lead in introducing 4-Year Undergraduate programs in Science, Commerce, Business, Pharmacy, Engineering, and English Literature and Linguistics. Various short-time courses and diplomas have become popular with the general public and are offered from time to time.
